You can share files, instant messages and talk with other people through the program's Internet connection. Skype allows you to communicate with anyone, even if they're located in a different location. Although Microsoft acquired Skype in 2011, its creators- Niklas Zennstrom, Janus Friis and Kazaa developers Ahti Heinla and Priit Kasesalu- first released the software in 2003.
